Apple plans store on Upper West Side

Apple plans to open it's fourth Manhattan store on the Upper West Side. The NY Post reported that the building at 1981 Broadway at West 67th Street that currently houses a Victoria's Secret store will be torn down and rebuilt for Apple.

Apple currently has Manhattan stores on Prince Street in Soho, it's flagship store in the General Motors building on Fifth Avenue and it's recently opened store in the Meatpacking district on 9th Avenue at 14th Street.

The Apple store on 5th Avenue and the new store in the Meatpacking district are open 24 hours. You never know what time of night you might need a new iphone.

IMHO an Apple store on the Upper West Side is so much better for the neighborhood than another Duane Reed or Walgreens.
